Transnational meetings
The first transnational meeting, held on April Family Development Center, Riga, Latvia, during 17 to 19 November 2015, was attended by two members of each project team. This type of meeting is organizational in nature and themes addressed in this first meeting were:

Presentation of each institution and partners;
-
Processing of information on the goals, activities and results;
-
Establishing the plan of activities and deadlines for the first project year;

The division of responsibilities and milestones for developing products for desfăşuarea intellectual and learning activities in the short term;

A second transnational meeting, although was planned to be held in Turkey, for safety reasons was conducted in Latvia, Riga, at coordinator headquarters of Family Development Center on April, during 16th – 19th of November 2016. The meeting was aimed to analyze progress in implementing the intellectual products and activities for the first year and to organize activities / distribution of responsibilities for the second year, as follows:
-
the analysis of the state of completion of the manual for teachers (O1);
-
the analysis of the achievement of the toolkit for teaching natural sciences (O2);
-
establishing detailed editing and printing intellectual products;
-
establishing responsibility for drafting the guide for parents (O3) and module testing in preschool learning styles (O4);
-
organizing events multiplier (in each partner country) and an international conference (Latvia);
Short-term learning activities
The first short-term learning activity took place in Romania, at ”Ioan Popescu” Pedagogical High School Barlad, during 7 to 11 March 2016, on "innovative teaching methods in preschool education." The program of activities:
-
meetings with representatives of local partners and the entire project team of Romania;
-
teaching demonstrations on the approach to groups of preschool VAK, supported both by teachers and by students of pedagogical profile practitioners of the high school;
-
teaching demonstrations on modern teaching methods of teaching natural sciences in preschool at different age groups of kindergarten);
-
presentations and debates about innovative teaching methods applied in Romanian kindergartens compared to those in the partner countries;
-
presentations and discussions on how to approach the VAK concept in educational activities with preschoolers;
-
comparisons and sharing experience regarding a specific aspect of Romanian kindergartens, Romanian specificity of primary education and specific aspects of alternative forms of education (Waldorf School, Iasi);

The second short-term learning activity took place in Estonia, Valga, at Lasteaed Pääsuke, during 13 to 17 February 2017, addressing the theme "Parental involvement - ensuring the successful element of the relationship between curricular approach and skills of the child." Activities carried out during five days and attended by three members of each team partner:
-
demonstration with preschool children and their parents;
-
presenting ways to involve parents in educational activities with preschoolers;
-
visits to kindergartens, demonstration and the pursuit of specific descriptions on Estonian preschool education;
-
presentation "Innovative methods of teaching science to preschoolers” Center of Natural Sciences Teaching AHHAA, Valga, Estonia;
-
demonstration and visits to primary schools, emphasizing the continuity of preschool education - primary education;
